Where to watch AFL in Melbourne: pubs for a proper footy catch-up
The footy’s better when you can hear the commentary and nobody’s balancing a plate on their knees. Union Hotel Windsor, Newbay and Temperance are among the Melbourne pubs with screens below. Pick the match, book a table and get the first order in before the bounce.

A table for the whole match
Union adds pool tables and a beer garden, Newbay has pool and outdoor seating, and Temperance has a beer garden too. For a full afternoon at the pub, those extras and a meal can matter more than a small saving on one beer.
A pub having screens doesn’t settle which game gets them. Ask for your match with sound when booking, particularly when fixtures overlap. The menus below let you work out the beer and dinner budget before you make the call.
