Privacy at PINTR.
Updated 27 October 2026
This page describes how PINTR uses information in its current service. For questions, corrections or a request about your information, email support@pintr.com.au.
Accounts and things you share
When you create an account, PINTR uses your email, account identifier and the profile details you choose to provide. Account access is handled through Supabase. PINTR uses secure session cookies to keep you signed in.
Posts, profile information and photographs you publish can be visible to other PINTR users. Venue and price contributions are reviewed before publication. Do not upload another person’s private information as a public post.
Venue verification
A venue claim can include a business email, your role, supporting details and a document or photograph. These are used to check your authority to manage that venue. Verification documents are restricted to the account and authorised reviewers; they are not published as venue photographs.
Location
You can choose an area manually. Features such as Closest or Show my location may request your device’s location permission. PINTR uses that location to show nearby venues and distances; you can decline permission or change it in your browser settings.
Usage information
PINTR’s own usage measurement records public page views, button/link actions, anonymous browser identifiers, session activity and broad device type. It is designed to leave account identifiers, form values, search terms and sign-in tokens out of those event records. It does not give an exact count of individual people.
The anonymous browser identifier can remain in local storage for up to 12 months. A small first-party cookie also remembers a measurement opt-out for up to 12 months, including when browser storage is full. Browser/session storage is also used for choices such as your selected area. You can clear this storage through your browser; doing so may reset your preferences and measurement identifier.
The public website also uses Google Analytics and, on its Vercel deployment, Vercel Analytics. These services process usage information under their own privacy information: Google and Vercel. PINTR does not load those third-party analytics on its private account and password-recovery pages. PINTR’s own collector respects the browser’s Do Not Track setting.
Your browser may restrict local storage. You can also use its Do Not Track setting.
Services and storage
PINTR uses hosting, database, authentication, media storage and email services to operate the product. Venue prices, public listings and approved contributions can be part of its public directory. Private account and verification information is restricted to the relevant service operations and authorised reviewers.
Account, contribution and moderation records are retained to operate the service, resolve requests and maintain listing history. This page does not promise that all records automatically expire after a fixed period. Contact support to ask about retention or request access, a correction or deletion.
Your choices and requests
You can change your profile, control browser permissions and use the account-deletion option in account settings. For other requests, contact support@pintr.com.au. We may need to confirm that a request comes from the relevant account or venue representative.
